No Further Action

Claire Anderson succeeds in persuading the Police to take no further action against her client who was accused of serious sexual offences. Claire made detailed written representations to the police, and submitted  pertinent documentation which clearly undermined the reliability of the Complainant’s account.  

Not Guilty

Claire Anderson secures the acquittal of a young HGV driver charged with Conspiracy to Supply Drugs, at Liverpool Crown Court. The case took 4 long years to get to trial. The defence successfully argued that late disclosure of Crown evidence rendered the Trial unfair.  Claire instructed Dominic D’Souza of Goldsmith Chambers in this case.

Acquittal – Sexual Offence

Claire Anderson secures acquittal of a client charged with a serious sexual offence. The jury were deliberating for only 35 minutes before returning unanimous Not Guilty verdicts. Claire instructed Colin Witcher of Church Court Chambers.
