R v E Basildon Crown Court

Seven defendants prosecuted in a substantial drugs prosecution and accused of drug trafficking offences relating to 1.46 tonnes of cannabis valued at £4 million.    

R v S Sheffield Crown Court

Conspiracy to evade duty on tobacco, money laundering and possession with intent to supply drugs. Police seized 2.1 million cigarettes, some of which were counterfeit and some had been manufactured in the Baltic for smuggling markets.

R v W Southwark Crown Court

Conspiracy to defraud in excess of £1.8 million. This involved the use of a company doing substantial trade in support of the disabled. There was a substantial volume of documentary evidence relied upon by the prosecution. Following a 2-month trial, the defendant was acquitted.

R v B Maidstone Crown Court

Making and possessing indecent images. The defendant was a director of IT at a leading independent school. The defendant was acquitted of all 14 counts.

R v G Exeter Crown Court

10 defendants accused of a £4million drugs conspiracy. Laura represented one of the defendants charged later than the 9 other defendants and prepared a 3 month trial within 4 weeks. The defendant required continual psychological and psychiatric assessment and constant monitoring. The defendant was acquitted.

R v CG Central Criminal Court

This case involved a number of historical charges of assault by penetration against his step daughter. In the first trial, the defendant was acquitted of some charges but the jury were unable to reach a verdict in respect of the remaining counts. R v K & I Central Criminal Court

This case involved 10 defendants who had been accused of grooming two 11-year-old girls. We represented two of the defendants, one of whom was acquitted of all charges. The second defendant had two charges out of four dismissed.

R v NE Croydon Crown Court
